Our Story
It all began back in 2010, during a memorable homecoming event. Little did they know that this would be the start of an extraordinary journey. Their first date? A classic trip to the movies that set the stage for something special.
High school and college came around, and although Abbey and Chris hadn't planned to attend the same university, life had its own funny way of bringing them together. Abbey stumbled upon Chris's surprising decision to "take his talents to SCU" (Santa Clara University) through a Facebook status update. Ironically, Abbey was also drawn to the school, and they both continued to invest in their relationship through their college years.
As life unfolded, Abbey and Chris took separate paths in 2016. But, as they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder. In 2020, with Chris moving to London and unexpected lockdowns sweeping the world, something incredible happened. Abbey and Chris rediscovered their love for each other and realized that their story wasn't over yet.
And then, on November 19, 2022, Chris found the perfect moment to take the plunge. At Rams Gate Winery in Sonoma Valley, surrounded by breathtaking vineyards, Chris got down on one knee and proposed to Abbey. It was a tearful and joyous moment as they eagerly embraced the beginning of their forever.
Abbey and Chris's story is a testament to the power of love, second chances, and the unexpected twists that make life beautiful. They extend their gratitude to the family and friends (all of you!) who were there throughout their journey - the celebrations the challenging, and the future that lies ahead. Together, they embark on an exciting new chapter, hand in hand, ready to create a future filled with laughter, love, and endless happiness.
